When I got back into the game about 15 years ago, I started playing with my father-in-law, my wife's grandfather and their regular group of guys. There were about 20 guys age 14-80+, but usually it would be about 12-16 that would show up each week. We kept averages and rough handicaps (80% of dif between par and avg.). At the end of the round we would all throw $1 in the pot and draw partners. Low NET pair took the pot. It was a great time. Unfortunately a few of the older guys, who were the orriginals from the group, passed away and the numbers started to dwindle. Now it is usually my wife's two uncles, my brother-in-law and me. My brother will join us on occasion and we are hoping that my father-in-law gets to play again soon. He has been out for a few years with neck and back surgeries.
