Avocados!

Up until about 3 months ago I couldn't stand the things either.

Avocada with my tuna sandwich. Avacoda with my Baja Fresh Burritos. Avocado in salad. Guacamole. Avocado pizza. You name it, I'll eat it.

those cadbury eggs are starting to come out again, lol im not much for the cadbury eggs, but i love the carmel eggs lol

even the egg shaped reeses lol

but i love anything choc peanut butter or chocolate carmel

i love carmello, i think carmello should come out with a chocolate cherry cordial carmel lol, make every other piece on the bar choc carmel, then choc cherry lol

Well, I switched it up from Promax Nutty Butter Crisp, to Coconut Caramel protein bars. Holy cow I wish I would have tried these earlier. If you like the Girl Scout Samoa cookies, you'll love this thing!

You guys are making me miss visiting the West Coast (and Houston, for that matter). Banh mi does rock. Rocks the house. On Vietnamese food craving days, I usually eat a huge bowl of Pho for lunch, then buy a bunch of banh mi for later that night.

I love pho. Oh, back to the topic, I'm currently addicted to nothing.

Another great thing about Banh Mi, so dang cheap. My local place raised their prices though. Oh well. Still cheap though! Pho is cool, not a big tripe fan though.

Sasnak - Kansas backwards. It's a reference to the fact that a lot of my state is ... well, backwards.

Not a big fan of the tripe either. I usually order it with rare beef (maybe also meatballs and brisket) - no tripe. I add a bit of hoisin and a lot of sriracha.

Anything with Guacamole. I tried this burger at Red Robin that had it on it a few weeks ago. Never in a million years would have thought to put that on a burger, but it was amazing.

They used to make a FAT vietnamese sandwich across the street from me at the Oaks Card Club...had special bread and special little oven...but they stopped about a year ago.

There is another place but they get $5 for one. I like them loaded with pate, deli meats, pickeled vegetables, etc. Best I had was in Hanoi - cheap too! I can go to Oakland Chinatown, but it's a drive so I don't get there that much.

I'm not addicted to anything right now.

    • after some years experimenting around, I've settled on a mixed bag of mostly Pat Simmons vintage Tiger Sharks (the ones with the blue enamal on back of the clubheads): 3 thru 9 iron, + 3 wedges (PW, sand, chipper). Those super heavy clubheads really help me get my swing down and thru the ball. Also I carry an old Taylor 18-degree rescue club, 17-degree and 14 degree ImagineGolf metalwoods, and the famous Pat Simmons "alien" 1-iron. Finally a real brick-on-a-stick, the big-headed Bettinardi Ben Hogan model putter which is excellent for taking the break out of short putts and getting the ball hole high on long ones. Wait....is that 15 clubs? Oh well....
    • this topic brought to mind one my favorite golf-spectator memories. Back when, living in Santa Barbara CA, parked in my yellow cab just behind the 10th tee  (c. 380 yard par 4) at SB Muni golf course while eating lunch. A twosome comes by, and first up is this fat little mexican guy who takes a kinda squirelly practice swing, then addresses the ball and bashes a long, high, perfectly straight drive up to w/in about 5 yards of the green. Other guy is dressed to the 9's, pulls out what looks like a $300 driver....and hits a maybe 150-yard pop fly. Slams clubhead to the ground and yells, "it's fat! It's fat! Everything is fat today!!"  And that's how I learned what a "fat" shot is.

Unless you know something that I don't, neither of us are in any position to judge whether Woods or Nicklaus lived their overall life better, not that such a thing is even objectively measurable, nor is it relevant to the discussion.
