You should update your Member Swing topic with some good slow-mo including a face-on. I looked quickly but mostly saw DTL views.

Will do! but will have to go to a different range for that because of the way the bays are setup at my usual spot ha

So fun stuff, was tinkering with the revised lead and trail grip when I got home and so far it DEFINITELY feels more solid in motion which was counterintuitive at first since my previous grip felt more solid at address but 'loose' during the swing; we'll see what the range holds for me

what I did notice is that when I take the grip with the club off the ground and then set it down, it becomes more hooded at address so I'll have to be careful about that when setting up

Because you’re used to letting your left hand get into that weak position.

2 to 2.5 knuckles at address (without moving your head to the left to look at them).

Everybody is different. I have small hands and short fingers. I use a ML Cadet glove. For years I used an interlocking grip but never really liked it. Overlap grip too uncomfortable for me. Recently I started using a ten finger grip and its working well. I feel much more control.

I don't have very big hands and uses to have a very palmy grip. After getting some advice on here and watching the grip video have gone to a grip in my fingers. Like @sinikstated it felt so much more solid and strikes were much better.

I've actually recently taken it a step further and realized that as I fixed my grip, I needed a thicker club grip than "convention would dictate". I've since changed to midsize and the feel and results have been night and day (so far).

I have small hands (glove size S) and while the golf pride site says I should be using "undersized", I talked to my fitter and my pro and they both told me to not go lower than "standard".. didn't like the plus4 standard, so just as a test I put on the plus4 in midsize on and despite my small hands, I really like them..  keeps me from squeezing a bit when I start the downswing as I feel I generally have a better grip..

I shot one of my best rounds yesterday, so the results are there as well..

cheers Chris

Totally. I basically put 2 extra wraps under a Standard for 3 clubs (wood, mid-iron, wedge) and 4 extra wraps under a Standard for 3 more clubs (they were out of midsize; driver, mid-iron, wedge) and then found over a couple range sessions and a round that while the 2 wraps did feel better than normal, the midsize felt great.

    • Day 133 (25 Apr 24) - Worked with the Divot Board today added a piece of cardboad behind the ball to help reinforce ball first contact. Contact improved through the round.   Added grandson's football goal posts about 10yds out to add a good start line visual Good session today.
    • Day 120: 4/25/24 Full Speed Spectrum training session. Low energy today and my speed was lower than normal. Will see what I can do on Saturday.
    • Day 541, April 25, 2024 Ten minutes after lessons. Still not caught up, but should be by tomorrow evening.
    • Playing irons only may lead to some short-term gains, but you'll want to at least practice with the driver if you ultimately have some decently good goals.
    • He plays from 68.3 / 124.  A combo tee setup of normal mens and seniors.   I play from 69.7/127.   He left after taking a triple on 14 and then leaving.  Which plays to what I think his plan is,   He doesn’t stroke on 14 but would have to take bogey for non completed holes on the way in.   Maybe that’s giving him too much credit, but he found a way to add 4 shots to his score over three holes so….     I looked up his last 20 rounds in GHIN and he has a lot of rounds at easier courses (rating and slope) that are higher than his normal rounds at home.   Since I mostly have his front nine score during the match (36) to go on, he has three nine hole scores at our course posted that are 41-43. I wrote the whole thing up to the head of our golf association who runs all the tournaments.  Our pro is not involved officially in the tournaments because the golf associations are separate from the club.   He’s pretty well known for this, however I was pretty shocked at how well he played carrying a 15.   I think eventually they will do something, a lot of people have complained.  The golf association threw someone out a couple of years ago and it was a three month situation where the guy retaliated.  They probably are hesitant to go thru anything like that again.  That is a rather crazy story I might post about later.
