I like Gary linekar, he seems like a really nice guy and for what he has done for charities over the years he deserves serious respect. BBC is great for watching golf, I don't have setanta, it costs around £120 a year doesn't it? Wish I had HD!!

The sport on the BBC is about the only value we get out of the TV tax.And they are showing the par 3 comp on weds night.Good old Peter Allis ,anyone taking bets on how long it will be before he mentions the heather at Hindhead? Things are starting to buzz around the house,all of the DIY up to date,videos lined up upstairs for her majesty,couple of cases of beer in the cooler,The victory cigar on top of the telly, Cant wait

      Day 87 (27 Jul 25) - Made it an easy session with the wedge this afternoon, worked on staying in the shot and not lifting out - split between low spinners and higher floaters.

      Shot my new low 72 (par 70) today. Had 5 birdies, also a new best, which included a hole out from the bunker on par 3 6th, and another hole out pitch from 15ish yards on the long par 4, 15th.  Got a couple of other good breaks. Except for an OB drive on 14th (and ensuing double bogey), not much went wrong. All in all I might have used up a year's worth of luck in a single day.

      Back in the saddle after vacation.  Day 1: played 18. Did not have it, but still battled to an 82. Felt closer to a 90, but that’s fine.

      Yes, I have seen this from the older crowd that play the 4,700 yard tees and want to know why they get less strokes from there. Always trying to game the system 🤣

      Day 300 - 2025-07-27 Good 44-ball segment. GSPro was acting goofy, so I just put it on the Quad. Then I hit a bunch of low spinners. Hit 14° down to 9.8° down, with the average closer to 12.3° or so. Focused mostly on the backswing. Right knee good, hands roll up and out a little before laying off (FAR).
