You planked with 30 pounds? 🙂

I think some of the "weight/reps" stuff is still dumb.

I did 101C today. I got too tied up yesterday to do it and played soccer last night (three goals, primary assists including a gorgeous full-field draw kick over a defender onto the foot of my guy on our team's other two goals).

They need to fix the entries so we can put in time. I just put 30 there as a note to remember the 30 seconds. What’s odd is I can’t seem to log into the trainerize.com site with my Fit For Golf username and password to make suggestions.

Did Phase 1 B today.  I used bands instead of the medicine ball.

I did 101A again today, because it's Monday. I've stopped entering data, and just check them off. 🙂

I did 1B yesterday. You do this for four weeks, I think… so I've scheduled the next week, which will be my third.

Started Phase 2 todays as phase 1 was pretty easy the last round. Did Phase 2 Workout A. Similar to Phase 1 except the main section did three supersets instead of two. More loading on some of the exercises too. I also did more stretches at the end than were in the workout. I’m playing tomorrow so we’ll see how I feel.

Did Phase 2 Workout B today. I did not feel the effects of the A workout on my rounds yesterday. In fact, I felt pretty limber the whole round. That’s a good sign that the work is doing something.

I did my "B" stuff today. Week three. Starting to remember the process… just in time for it to change after next week! 🙂

The app itself is clearly the biggest annoying thing/downside here with this. It's not great. The info inside is good, and I enjoy the workouts.

I still wish there was a list of recommended "props" at the top of each prescribed workout.

@iacas @boogielicious looks like you two need some folks to join you! I’ll take a look. Seems like a good program.

The app needs some updates, but the program is excellent so far.

Did phase 2 workout C. It’s getting more intense in this phase, but manageable. I’ve done most of these exercises before. Really liking this program.

I did my last A workout today. Man, I hate working out. I just almost never have an hour where I feel like I can do it. Podcasts help.

    • I'm in Missouri nowadays, but the opposite corner of the state from St Louis. I don't mind traveling if a group was planning a tee time though.
    • With all of my wedges/short irons I have 4 main shot types that I use to hit the ball different distances with different trajectories. I have my "normal" shot with standard yardage and ball flight, a "knockdown" shot with shorter yardage and lower ball flight, a "3/4" shot with shorter yardage and normal ball flight, and a "1/2" shot with shorter-still yardage and normal trajectory. Of those shots, the only one with a swing that is intentionally different in any way is the "knockdown" shot where I move the ball back a little and keep a bit more shaft lean at impact. Multiple sets of irons and wedges ago I used a shag bag and a big field to measure out how far I hit each of those 4 shots on average with all my clubs 8i and below, then I printed out some homemade shaft labels and put them on the corresponding club for easy reference. Nowadays I don't do that (they get damaged and fall off too quickly/easily without real shaft labels), but I do have those distances noted on a laminated sheet I keep in my yardage book cover. I rarely carry an actual yardage book, it's mostly just to keep my scorecard dry and intact now that I live in a more humid climate where sweat doesn't immediately evaporate, but it means I can have a typed out sheet of these yardages handy at all times without taping them to my shafts. So long as there isn't some forced carry or super slippery greens conditions that would necessitate a shot with more spin or higher trajectory I've found this to be much more consistent than just using a 60* for everything inside its full swing yardage and trying to tell the small difference between a 70% swing and an 80% swing.
    • I've always wondered what those wrenches were set to. I'm sure I could have looked it up but I had never remembered to look it up. Nice.
    • If you have a decently equipped shop or set of tools you may have all you need. A golf wrench is just a T25 torx bit on a torque-wrench set to 40 in.lbs. 😁
    • Just some clarifying questions: Has anything changed in regards to… who you play with, when you play, your health, romantic life, your financial situation… anything? When's the last time you worked with your instructor(s)? Has it been awhile since you got to 12, or are you still continuing and doing the same types of things? Have you focused more on score lately given your time/$ "investments" and not as much on enjoying the playing, the company, the golf? Has golf become a task instead of an opportunity?
