Greetings fellow lovers of this treacherous game!

New member, long-time golfer. I stopped playing for about 19 years (2001 - 2020) but re-joined this madness at the beginning of the pandemic. Located in SoCal, and here's how much it rains here - I played 9 holes this morning after not doing so for the past 7 days or so because it had been raining non-stop (no rain before that for who knows how long). Fairways were a dampen mess and I had completely forgotten what it was like to play in such conditions. My round sucked of course, and as a consequence I am staying away from wet conditions from now on.
