My 08 setup is in my signature. The wedges are on the way. I ordered them with some lie adjustments, extra length in some heavier shafts, a built-up grip, extra swingweight, and all lofts bent +1*.

I am committing to this bag for 12 months. And, yes, I know I have 15 clubs listed. I'll usually drop the 4-iron, but depending on the course, I might leave the driver, 3-wood, 56*, or 60* at home.

In my bag for 2008? Exactly the same as in 2007 and almost the same as in 2006!

Driver: TaylorMade r510 TP 10.5* Dynamic gold X100 43.5"
3 Wood: Precept EX2 16* UST Proforce V2 Stiff 42.5"
Hybrid: Hogan CFT 19* Dynamic Gold S300
Irons: 2-PW Precept Tour Premium (Forged) Dynamic Gold S400
GW: Cobra Phil Rodgers 52* (Second one in 20 years) Dynamic Gold S300
SW: Ram FX 55* Dynamic Gold S300
LW: Ram FX 60* bent to 58* Dynamic Gold S300
Putter: TaylorMade Tc1 (Been in the bag for about 20 years)

All clubs except the putter are gripped with Lamkin Crossline Cords turned upside down (logo to the back).

If you do the maths you'll work out that I have 16 clubs listed. I swap in and out the PW, GW, 2 iron, hybrid and 3 wood depending upon where I am playing and the weather conditions etc.

Not in my bag yet, but I was in Scottsdale last week and had an outdoor fitting session with ProFit at the Kierland, and was fitted for a G10 Driver at 44.5" with an Accra T50 shaft. WOW, what a huge difference from from the Callaway which I had bought off the rack. High launch, low spin, baby draw with nice roll out. Also swapping out my Callaway 3 wood into a G10 4 Wood, same shaft set-up, length at 42.5". Should be delivered by the end of the week.

Am so looking forward to getting them on the course this weekend.

By the time I get my bag situated (getting some new clubs soon) my bag will look something like this:

Cleveland Hibore XL 10.5 w/ Graphite Design YS-6+ (45.5")
Ping G10 15.5 w/ Ping TFC129F
Ping G10 21 w/ Ping TFC129H
Ping G10 24 w/ Ping TFC129H
Srixon I-701 5-PW w/ TT Dynamic Gold (+3/4", 3 degrees up)
Titleist Vokey 50/08 Oil Can (36.5")
Titleist Vokey 54/10 Oil Can Spin Milled (36.5")
Titleist Vokey 58/08 Oil Can Spin Milled (36.5")
Yes! Marilyn (33", 2 degrees flat, loft strengthened half a degree)

Switching out the 4 wood, 20 degree, and 23 degree hybrids for the G10s. I need to find some time to get fitted for the G10s just to make sure on my specs though. My old irons were stronger than the Srixons so my distance gaps weren't quite right when I played on Monday. The Srixons are definitely some of the best feeling irons I've ever hit (I work at a golf store, I've hit a lot of different clubs). Going to try playing the Z-URS in most of my rounds, but I have quite a few other balls that were given to me that I'll play also.

New Driver Ordered
New 3 Wood Ordered
Two New Hybrids Ordered
I-701 Irons 5-PW w/ Rifle 5.0

I'm going to replace my old clubs with graduation money that I get in two weeks. I'm going to replace the old callaway war bird 3 wood with a new taylormade r7 3 wood. My wedges are old and put no spin on the ball no matter what I do, so I'm going to replace them with a couple vokeys (52 and 58). I've also tried the yes! Tiffany putter and I love it. It is also my girlfriend's name so it'll make her happy. Other then that everything is going to stay the same until I get good enough to buy some players irons.

All in the sig, been using them for a while now... My newest club is my putter, which was a major improvement over the POS I was using.

I think either later this year (if I can get the money) or next season I'm going to be getting all new equipment... I really want the R7Tp irons, not really sure on the driver yet, I'd have to hit some to decide.

I also need new wedges badly, mine are worn out.. Maybe later this month... Tax rebate time I think.

What I play

Wood:960 15*

5 Wood: 960 18*

Irons: Titleist 735 Cm 3-PW

Wedges: CG16 60* and 52*

Putter: Nike Method

    • Day 54. Was in a good place last week. Yesterday’s round killed my confidence.  Full swing practice trying to get back to where I was but struggled with being tired and tense. Back to basics tomorrow.
    • Welcome back! Evolvr.com? I don't use the full extreme end of it, and that's probably dipped to 75% or so nowadays. But I use the sole more than I don't, yeah. Also… it's good to learn this shot: Middle up. Not generally outside your feet in either direction. I generally have it slightly forward of center, yeah. Short version: tip your upper body in the direction of the slope. Look at the GC3. You can find them for really good prices sometimes.
    • 3 rainouts in a row….that’s SAD Sorry, I’m in MI or I would take you up on a round.
    • Day 3:  I tried to hit a bucket at the range but an 80 year old man (he told me his age, showed me his knee replacement scars, told me all about his chronic low back pain, etc) couldn’t pass up the opportunity to mansplain to me every little thing I’m doing wrong.  Dude, it’s my third frickin day.  I know I need to twist my hips more, I know I need to keep my head/chest down and not pop up, I know I need to hit through the ball and follow through further, yada yada yada.  I know.  That’s exactly what I’m trying to work on.  How about you tell me or show me how to do those things instead of telling me to watch Iron Byron videos?  Rough day.
    • Day 132: 5/7/24 Full Speed Spectrum Training session 8/24. 7th training program overall.    Another slow session but 4 mph faster than my last session, which was my slowest ever. Going to the doctor on Friday to check on pulled neck muscle.
