I was hoping someone could steer me in the right direction.

I am going to purchase a new iron set and after hitting a few different brands, I really liked the feel of the Cobra, cavity back, cast S9 club. Unfortunately, I can't spend 5-6 hundred bucks on clubs. I can only spend 3-4 hundred max. Does anyone have any suggestions on last years models which would be similair to the Cobra S9? I thought the Cobra SS Oversized irons would be good, but I am not sure.

Thank you!

Do you know your specs? There might be last year's models in the used area for that price, and if you know what shaft you need, lie angle, etc, and if your specs aren't too uncommon, you can probably find it with some looking.

So, last year's S-9s might be $400. Remember: there are people who will buy new clubs every year, just like there are people who will buy a new Lexus every year. Getting the one-year-old model can save you good money if you know what you want and someone reputable checks that it's in good working order.

There is always ebay. I'm sure that you could find some used s9s on ebay for the price range that you want.
