    • My driver is a Titleist 913D3, and beyond that my two longest clubs are the matching 4-wood, 17 degree standard bumped down to 16.25 degrees.  And then a 4i.    I used to have the 3-wood in the bag that matches the woods, but the 4-wood has a smaller head which I prefer hitting off the ground.   When it's wet/rainy conditions I swap in a hybrid and take out a 64 degree wedge that I carry for firmer conditions.   That makes the hybrid the second longest after the 4-wood.

    • These were not from the same line. I moved around a little bit and picked a hole that had some slope. Downhill     1.      9' 1 2.      9' make 5 3.      10' 1 4.      11' make 7 5.      12' 1       Uphill     6.      9' make 5 7.      10' 1 8.      10' make 6 9.      11' 1 10.    12' short -1         Total 27
    • Driver (Taylor Made SIM 2) Tour Edge hybrid (I think 18 degree) 4 iron  I used to have 2 hybrids instead of one. I used to have a 3 wood also.  I took the 3W out of my bag because I didn't use it very often. I had less confidence with it than the hybrid, probably because I used it less than the hybrid, it was a longer club, etc. If I have a "3W" tee shot, I either use the hybrid and accept the loss of distance, or I will choke up an inch on my driver or tee it a little lower or whatever.  I use only 1 hybrid because I just didn't find many cirucumstances where I felt I _needed_ one over the other. Either was fine.  If that sounds dumb or illogical or whatever, I don't disagree...I am not recommending this for anyone. I just want the bag to be lighter and simpler and am not claiming this was the ideal decision for my game.
