Im noticing on the PGA tour many putter shafts that apoear to be red shafts with the last 6-8 inches being chrome. Is this a complete shaft or has the original been cut and retrofitted with a new section for the mid and upper shaft?

Thanks Rod

  • iacas changed the title to Red/Chrome Putter Shaft Question

@rod7515 the red putter shaft I’m aware of is called Stroke Lab.  Odyssey puts it on some of their putters.  Not sure if that’s the one you’re referring to?  If so, I’d guess you could probably find info on it.

Denny, thank you for that information. I did some checking after you posted that information and it doesnt appear that there is a double bend graphite shaft in that style shaft. Im using a cameron golo 5R mallet and am considering a new shaft. Just like the appearance of those new shafts on tour.

Thanks Rod

It’s the Tri-Hot 5K Putters. The shaft is Odyssey Red Stroke Lab.
