Hey everyone I know a lot of you probably saw it, but Adam Scott just holed a 48 ft putt at the Byron Nelson to win in the 3rd hole of playoffs! This is a great win for Scott as he was looking for another tour victory. Also, this win gives Scott a lot of momentum going into the Players tournament. I'm glad to see my boy win another tournament. Everyone what do you think of Scott, and his potential for the rest of the 2008 season?

I think AS is a great golfer but right now he's what in 12th place in FEdEX points? hmm.....he'll more then likely end up around 7-10 place in points but I wouldn't hold my breath to seeing him win a major this season (I'm probably wrong )....but even with that huge putt for the winner today I think the knock on him is his putting (or his consistency at it well I should say)

I saw the tee shots on the second playoff hole at the golf shop this afternoon and figured Scott would win it there. The final round notebook doesn't seem to have it. Anyone care to fill me in?

Moore hit an 82 foot putt from off the green about 5 feet long and left - a good effort (he had the pin out which was strange!) Scott had a putt about 11 feet and though he got it past the hole, it never really threatened - he read that it would fall into the water but it stayed on the high side. Adam taps in for par, Moore slots in his for par - back to 18! This time it's Moore who hits the good drive - Middle of the fairway, Scott pushes his and it just rolls into the bunker. The commentators said he may have trouble with hit footing, while being able to stand in the bunker, he would be 4 inches above the ball. Moore hits a hooking wedge shot which doesn't spin a lot (downwind) and trickles off the green but he's only 15 feet away and can putt. Scott hoiks a sandwedge and forgivably it ends up in the middle (safe) part of the green. Scott taps it in (from 48 feet), Moore hits a great put which misses high side and finished a foot behind the hole - a valiant effort but not enough. Oh and Tony Navarro drives home in a nice new car thanks to his players outstanding play!

Wow nice summary... I like the tap in part for 48 feet haha. That truly was an amazing putt... I was praying he would make it. I'm pumped he won this tourney, and want to see him win more this year.

His iron play was most impressive. I believe it was on the 18th, where he hit a 7-iron from 200 yards out which set up for his birdie. Great exposure for those AP2s.
