Some tips:

  • Don't give your passcode to anyone.
  • Be wary of who can see you entering your passcode.
  • When iOS 17.3 comes out, turn on the stolen iPhone protection.
  • Consider setting a non-standard (i.e. not 4 or 6) digits passcode. The little dots don't appear, so a thief has no idea how long your passcode is just by looking at the dots.
