Is anyone in the same boat as me and can't get enough of them?
Or do you guys hate them like a lot of people?

If I had it my way all courses would be required to have them. It is so much easier to putt when all you have to do is get the ball started on a line and it goes by itself. IMO, the shorter the putting stroke, the less chance for error.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

I like them because when the greens are slow I'm more likely to leave one short than leave one long when the greens are fast.

I love me some fast greens, I seem to get a better roll and I have more confidence in my putting. I usually average 33 puts per round and the last two rounds I played on fast greens I had 29 and 30 putts respectively.

At my old home course that I've been playing for 3 years had lightning fast greens, now playing anywhere else its hard to adjust to the awfully slow ones.

I actually like them.

The thing that I like more than fast greens (well, as much) is firm greens. i hate it when greens get so soft that everything you hits either checks up on a dime or barely bounces at all. I want to be able to hold the green and all that good stuff, but make it firm so that chipping is actually a demanding task.

By the way, I absolutely love fast greens. They emphasize a solid stroke that gets the ball started on the correct line. That is why i play in as much tournament golf as possible. Greens are rolled and mowed down pretty tight. Love it!
