Right now i am hitting taylormade r7 and I think i am gonig to switch to ping i10. Does anyone have any comparison on these to clubs. Should I keep hitting the r7 or switch to ping. B/c tomorrow I am gonig to get fitted for the ping i10 just to see what they say. Any suggestions will help.

This thread would be more appropriate in the golf equipment forum, try posting it there.

The r7 (non TP) is a workable game improvement iron with a lot of offset from PW to 3. the i10's are more of a player's iron, ie. less forgiving than the r7, but a lot more workability.

If your really playing off 10, i would suggest getting onto the i10's.

the i5's are amazing irons, my friend has some.

I think that the i5's have a thicker/wider sole than the i10's. The i10's are a tad smaller in size too.

If your r7 are the tp's, keep them. If not, I'd sugest to switch to a ping i10
