I really want a SQ 3 wood, and would like to try one out before I purchase one. I don't have the luxury of having a golfsmith type place around me.

Is golfclubdemo a legitimate site? And do you get to use 100% of what you paid to "rent" that club towards that club?

Dang, maybe you can make a little bit of a trip somewhere to go to a store?

I can't imagine there isn't a single golf store in J-ville that doesn't carry the club and has either a driving range or a golf simulator - I would sit down with a phone book and dial every place within an hour. Ask THEM if they know a place as well.

I know the Edwin Watts on JTB near Phillips Highway has a good amount of demo clubs. I'm pretty sure they would have that 3 wood as a demo so you might want to try them.

Thanks. I might have to try that out.

Golf Club Demo is legit, but one thing to be on the lookout for: if you cancel before the club ships, be sure they refund everything.

I signed up to demo a driver from them. I changed my mind a day or so later and cancelled the order. They refunded my card, but kept the $5 shipping charge. I had to call them and explain they had no right to keep a charge for a service they did not yet provide. They admitted it was an oversight and refunded the money.

    • Imma throw a dart in the dark as no one can tell what is happening once every fourth iron shot per your OP. This might sound counterintuitive but if ball position is too far back in the stance folks are known to throw down clubhead steeply. Could be happening. And yes, @billchaois not wrong; clubhead tends to bottom out wherever your pressure is. So slide forward (not sway), then hit.
    • Day 300 (!): did a stack session.
    • Day 24: Missed my weekly round due to a last minute little league makeup game this morning. Managed to get in some backswing rehearsals while grilling sausages for dinner, and then putted around the office/laundry room after dinner.
    • but I don't understand how that's possible you still want your head to stay back you don't want the upper body coming forward and plus I've tried feeling that and it made my fat shots worse and I then tend to pull and sky all my shots especially with driver because I get in front of it dont need force plates to see i finish on my left side
