lately had trouble getting consistancy on my low draws. they either go high or i get the dreaded straight ball.

any thoughts. I generally have been playing the ball a couple balls back of center and try to end with a medium (10:00) follow through?

Hey bud, the quick fix for hittin a low draw for me is at address simply putting the ball a little back like you said and putting the hands a little more forward then usual, then finish off with a 10:00 also like you said. I was practicing this shot at the range just now because I was hitting into the wind the whole time, and those three steps did the trick for getting that low draw.

If your hitting it high then your hands are probable breaking down before impact which will loft the club and you'll hit it too high, so make sure to retain that wrist angle and follow through nicely to make sure the ball turns over right to left.

or i get the dreaded straight ball.

It's funny because I tried to hit a draw on Friday with my 5 wood and the damn thing went dead straight. I ended up pin high, but well right of the green in a little gully about 6 feet below the green.

One of the few times I was ever made about hitting the ball straight!
