Mizuno MX950?

Anyone hit these? They are a super game inprover, correct?
I have a set of Sumos coming, but am still open to trying more sets!

I haven't hit the 950s, but I have 900s (samething but without the hybrid long irons). I don't know if they are SGI or just GI, but they feel great. There are probably more forgiving irons for us high handicappers, but I love mine. There is something to be said for the confidence inspired by clubs that just "feel right."

BTW, I'm assuming you play guitar. What do you have?

Snake, I have many guitars, used to be a vintage guitar dealer. Mainly play a Nash strat 90% of the time these days. Maybe I'll make a guitar my avatar.

Nice collection! Strats, Tele, SG, LPs...I'm jealous! I have an early 90s Mexi-Strat that I almost completely modded - pickups, neck, tuners, nut, bridge, etc. About the only thing original is the body. I've bought and sold other guitars over the years, but I always go back to the Strat. Too bad my guitar playing handicap is about the same as my golf handicap...too high to count!

Ha, thanks Snake! Now I would certainly trade some of my geetar skilz for some golf skilz! I just wish I could break 100 once again! That's my goal for this summer. Used ot shoot mid 90's consistently, now it seems so faaaaaar away:<)

Wanted to update this...Tried a set of the mx950's and just loved the buttery feel of decent hit shots, what I was looking for.
So, I have a set of used ones coming to compare with the Sumo2 sq hybrid set coming today!

I bought the MX-950s, stiff steel shafts, (along with a whole new set, check my sig) but they still haven't arrived. Won't have them before September/October.
Man, this SUCKS. I can't wait any longer, I just WANT THEM!!!

They are really not expensive now, and I think they'll drop even more come September when the new MX-300 is released. I got them for $450 from RBG, and they are $399 right now. But the ones they have now are only stiff with a tweaked lie angle. But you can still get them new for $500 from tim the putter man on Ebay.
