Absolutely play. I played in a couple of tournaments around here, and most of the guys I played with that were 2-7 handicaps didn't break 80. It can be a bit intimidating, but most all of them were great guys and they made it a lot of fun.(plus I played really well, for me at least)

You pretty much pinned the reason why I was unsure. i have been tracking scores and it seemed like the scores were higher. I guess it was tournament nerves. I will def. have those as my last competition was in 2001.

Dont be nervous. Its not as if you are a pro golfer who has sponsors to keep happy and whose performance puts food on the table.

Just go and have fun. If you do well, great! If not, learn from you mistakes and do better next time. Just relax, treat it like any other round and most importantly of all, have fun. Afterall, if you arent having fun, whats the point?

Whats in my :sunmountain: C-130 cart bag?
