1. Don't think about this round next time you play. Don't get upset with yourself in your next round if things don't fall in place as it did in this round. This can lead to unwarranted frustration which is never good for your golf game.

absolutely agree 100%! After the 1st time I shot in the 90's it took me 5 or 6 rounds to do it again. then when I shot in the 80's took like 8 rounds to do it.. then when I shot my 1st 78, I didn't shoot in the 70's again until like 20 rounds later.

But definitely GOOOOOD SH**! it definitely helps to get you HOOKED once you see that significant improvement. just carry that confidence with you and you'll see that handicap go way down this year.... you know you have the skills it takes...keep it simple and try to be consistent with your shot thinking..and making sure that pre-shot routine stays the same no matter what you're doing. it helps to keep you focused in that element

Congrats! I'm hoping to have a day like that soon. I'm part of a 9-hole group that meets in the evenings. My goal is to get under 50 consistently (without picking up and walking off if I get a 9 on a Par 3 ).

I'm hoping to be able to come in here and say "I SHOT A 44!" like yours.

Keep on truckin'. You're making all of us high handicappers hopeful.

Good job! Gave me a good laugh since it reminded me of when I broken 90 and 80 in a weeks time but now I am back on Earth at high 90's... Good luck to you!
