With so many people who actually bet on the golf course, if you had the cash, would you enter this tournament? If so, what type of shot would you bet the most on? (Let's stay away from an 18 inch putt )

no, because of the way it is handicapped. high handicappers are given too much of an advantage.

It's fun to watch on TV, but I can't imagine the average Joe playing it on a Sunday round. It would turn a 4.5 hour round into a 7 hour round. I know guys who take too much time over a shot when all that matters is score, now it may be their whole buy-in that's on the line.

But if played with the agreement that they would still maintain a good pace, I think it would be fun within my regular foursome. I'm not going to drop a bundle into a pot against a bunch of strangers though.
