Right handed swing, right index sore?

I noticed that with full-swings, the base of my right index finger gets really sore/bruised. What am I doing wrong? I am using a Vardon grip.

grip to tight? and do you take monster divots on hard ground, but that should hurt your wrists more than finger.

Nope, no monster divots. I'll loosen up the grip though!

If you can take a picture of your grip (and your hands in general), so we can see how your hands are placed on the club that might help the diagnosis.

In my bag:

Driver: Burner TP 8.5*
Fairway metals/woods: Burner TP 13* Tour Spoon, and Burner TP 17.5*
Irons: RAC MB TP Wedges: RAC TPPutter: Spider Ball: (varies ) (Most of the time): TP Red or HX Tour/56---------------------------------------------------
