Yep, I got the grip today. Looks nice - I don't know what club to stick it on yet though.

Thank you for the link. Since I got my clubs from a pawn shop, and the way they were packaged I couldn't tell the shaft on the sand wedge was broken, so I had to re-shaft it with a K-mart 56* that I had been fooling around in my back yard with prior to me getting serious with this game. I'll put the grip on that. It is my short game club. Hit it every day in the backyard for 20 minutes when I get out of work. Any body interested in a K-mart 56* head with the chrome burned off of it?

I love signing up for these things I don't really need because it's like Christmas morning when they come.

You're absolutly right. My birthday is Dec. 18th no great birthday gifts, since I was alway's told to "wait a week". My condolences to people who's birthday is closer to the holiday.

Thats wierd, i dont know if its related but i remember that one time when i was caddying at my club and there was some promotion that was giving out free lamkin crosslines, and took the borchoure and the grip and now its on my current driver.

not only did I get the free grip, apparently when you requested the grip you entered a contest. I got a letter telling me I'd won. I thought it was a dozen balls. I got my choice of Pro V, Nike Ones, TM TP. Figured I'd try the TP reds.

They came in today and to my delight it wasn't a dozen balls but a dozen dozens. I'm a TP red guy for a while. I hope I like em.
Anyone have an opinion of How they compare to the Nike Platinums that I usually play>

My moms friend filled this out and last week she came over and gave me a free Lamkin Sting-free grip and two brand new sleeves of Callaway Tour Ix balls. The balls are great but I haven't gotten to try the grip yet.

      Day 4 (12 Mar 26) - nine hole session with grandson - played along side him from most fwd tees with seven  club setup -D,7w, 5,7,9,55° and putter.  Worked with him on his green side approach play.  Had some great shot making opportunities on my own, best part was seeing him make solid swings.

      Went back to controlling my knees. That part was getting a bit sloppy when I worked on my backswing. Right hip didn't slide or gain internal rotation. I would just rotate back and around and the left knee would be in a bad spot. Really focusing now on keeping my left knee very stable and straighter in the backswing. I can't go back to the old pattern of overturning the hips. I was returning to my old pattern to time my downswing. Turn forever.  Left knee controls both knees and hips, acting as an anchor. Feel like it straightens a bit.   Hinge sooner and faster. Not in a way that sends the hands out and flips the club over. I still noticed when the hands get to A2.5, the hands would want to flip over and flatten the club out a ton.  Still trying to figure out how to roll the forearms a bit open and not just roll the club inside a ton.  Figure out the timing to get the hands down. Still getting a bit of right elbow collapsing in the downswing because the arms are too high when I turn. Everything is happening sooner now. If the hips are controlled, the backswing is shortened. Because it is shortened I don't know when to get the hands down and I just turn because the downswing is a go.  Very slow (50%) swings are decent.
