Does anybody know of a website that can sell their clubs by using monthly payments?

I hope I don't sound like an idiot here... I mean this with nothing but positive intentions.

Have you thought about Credit Cards? Not that I'm advocating going into debt, but that you can often times find good deals on introductory offers with Credit Cards. 0% for 6months. 0% for 12 months. Etc. Thus, you could put the whole lot on the card and force yourself to pay it off before the end of that period. However, the traps with Credit Cards is that they don't require you to pay them off in full. You can just make a "minimum payment" paying off only the tiniest fraction of the principle balance. Thus, they make a ton of money, and you pay for something simple for years. In theory, though, they provide a way to make payments on purchases.

He's only 14, I'm sure his parents wouldn't let him get a credit card. Good answer though.

No, unless you find a local shop. I dont believe anyone would enter into a contract with you because you are not of legal age and the contract will not be enforcable on their end. I would go to a local shop/range and tell them your concerns or needs.

Side note...

I used to hit balls at this range when I was 13-16 and they would allow me to take clubs home and run a "credit" with them for repair services and what not. I know if I would have ask to make payments on clubs they would have done it

Ah. Didn't see the "age" in his signature.

Yeah, legally you can't be held liable in a contract, so nobody will allow minors to take credit. You'll have to look at someone face to face who trusts that you'll make the payment. As a minor, you could break the contract and refuse to pay, and there is very little the creditor could do to recover the losses. A local guy who knows you or knows your family would be more likely to make some kind of deal with you. Good luck! PS: Advice for you when you DO turn 18. You will get credit card offers by the truckload. You will be inundated with them. Throw them all away. Well, pick one. But, set a spending limit of only $500. Trust me. You'll thank me later. Eventually you'll forget how much you spent on the card and the only reminder will be when you hit that Limit. A $500 hole is a whole lot easier to get out of than a $5000 one. Just your friendly advice from a banker who's seen too much.

    • Thank you.  I'll cross it off the list since it isn't going to achieve what I want.
    • While it does turn out that both Tiger and Phil are less squeaky clean than I previously believed, I don't think golf quite has the worst in professional sports.  Or maybe they're better at image management.   Obviously I'm not fond of Phil's issue we're discussing in this thread (or his involvement with LIV) or Tiger's choices of how to drive.  I used to really like Dustin Johnson and, even before the LIV situation, we started to hear rumors that he bought more snow than Seward, although I don't think those stories were ever substantiated.  Meanwhile, I did think of Anthony Kim as the "good, bad boy" of the tour for a while fifteen years ago because of his party persona -- and if it turns out the worst he did was show up hung over to play (barring what one thinks of LIV), that's pretty good.  And I'm still happy he found a way to get his life clean. If we contrast that with some other sports I enjoy, I'm sure we could find a nice long list of NFL players that, at one point in my life, I was quite fond of, we get far worse disappointments (to put it mildly).
    • Answering that properly would land me in hot water, so I'm not going to. I don't think that many people would do that. I think that in certain circumstances many people would be willing to overlook someone doing that. But I was really referring to what I assumed was Tiger's transgressions (cheating on his wife) not Phil's.
    • No! Is a large part of the human population selfish, apathetic and cuts corners in the name of self-preservation 'more than they would like to admit', yes. Degenerate, scum, etc?.. no!! Most humans/men would not grope a woman like Phil is accused of doing (I think he absolutely did). That is scum. I mean what % of men do you think would do that? Seriously??
    • I don't think that is true at all. That is off-topic here, I think.
