My little brother is 11 and is still in junior clubs, but really badly wants some adult clubs, but in a smaller size.

Would this be possible: Take a SQ driver(which he wants), put a junior shaft on it, and get a junior grip put on it...

Thanks.

(He currently has a junior 460cc driver, so it's not like the clubhead would be too heavy)

Moving up to mens clubs at age 11 is around the right age. How tall is he? I remember when I was that age all my friends were (as dumb as it sounds) getting ladies clubs, of course they still looked like mens clubs but had different specs to them because most ladies are shorter. Me on the other hand about 5'4" at around that age? (I think) Went with the mens clubs, I grew into them and they were great and still using them currently. At 16.

I suggest just takeing a look at mens, he's going to grow into them. Don't spend money fitting him for the size he is now and then ending up having them to small in a year. Think of the future.

5'4" at age ELEVEN? He's 4'9". Although, I was 5'3" until this summer, and I'm closing in on 5'10"...

1. Get woman's clubs.
2. Get mens clubs, and get the shaft cut 2 inches shorter or so...

Maybe I'm lying, but I recall being able to fit mens clubs easily. I seriously suggest getting mens, theres alot of growing room, he may have trouble at first, but if he keeps up the game, it pays off in the long run.
