I wasn't trying to ruffle your feathers. I am certainly no fashion authority, but I have not seen anyone off the golf course wearing plaid pants that was under the age of 60, or is part of some sub-culture MOD group. What I originally asked was... what is it about golf that brings out this fashion sense? As far as finding them on the racks at high end dept stores, well guess where old guys shop? Of course the pros will wear whatever they want, and if that one dude wants to wear bright pink palid, then I guess you'll remember his name, and he's easy to spot on TV. Sounds like an Agents work to me. I'm not saying don't wear them, or that you look dumb when you do. And there only seem to be a couple players that wear plaid on a regular basis, the rest seem to have adpoted a more conservative approach. I just don't understand why golfers tend to reach for the gaudiest pants they can find. As far as vintage goes, leather helmets were part of Football, but times change. Maybe we should all use hickory shafts on our clubs too. And yes I wear a collar on the course
