I've hit the Nike Slingshot irons didn't like them. I've hit the Sasquatch (not the sq version) and thought it was alright, not too bad, I could play it. I've hit the Sumo sq version, HATED it (and that noise, lol).

So I went to play golf today. I hit my sand wedge HORRIBLE. It's about two years old (and was used previously) it's a Ping Tour 56*...the grooves are shot. I get no spin. I land it way short of the pin in wet conditions, and it still flies 15 feet past. It was making me so angry. I have a very good short game, or did, up until two or three weeks ago, when I started losing my feel even though I was hitting everything solid. It was almost like all feedback left the clubface.

So after my round I headed over to Dick's Sporting Goods. I saw the Titleist Vokey's (had my eye on them honestly) but were 120 dollars so I said screw that. I went over to the Nike SV Tour's. 89.99. I said, good price. They felt very nice too me in my hands. I went into the little room then had, they taped it up or something, and they let me hit a few balls. It felt great even though I couldn't see the ball flight. I really liked it. So I purchased.

I haven't liked Nike Golf equipment over the past year or so, but this wedge felt really good. Anyone else play it? I know I sound like a 'NIKE HATER' but I'm really not. I've wanted to always give them a chance, but their stuff never felt as good to me as Ping woods, Mizuno irons, Tileist, Callaway, etc.

I got the same Nike wedges actually... out of the two I play (56 & 60), I really like the lob wedge. It produces decent spin and I love the feel of them. I wish they had a different finish than the silver look, but as long as they work, I won't complain..

Ive got a 52 SV Tour, and a solid strike really puts the spin on the ball. Ive had the wedge a year or so now, and its as close to new as you can get.

My other Nike wedge, 60 degree, is just a forged wedge, which i picked up new for 30 bucks(in the used rack, but obviously never been hit), but i havent taken a full swing with a lob wedge in so long, so i dont know about the spin.

on half and 3/4 shots, it gets really nice feel, but any plain forged wedge will, so its nothing special.
just works really well.

I've hit the Sumo sq version, HATED it (and that noise, lol).

Don't hate on it. Sometimes I go to a dome near my house (fabulous acoustics) and just hit balls as hard as I can with mine to piss everyone off.

I like Nike clubs; I've trusted them ever since the first club of mine that wasn't a hand-me-down was an Ignite driver, and I especially like the forged TW wedge. I can spin it like it's my job with that thing.

I was never a fan of Nike clubs and would have never thought I would own one. I tried the Adams Ovation 3 Square driver and liked it,but still didn't love it. So I wanted to try another Square driver. So I sucked it up and bought the Sumo2. I was really impressed with it (besides the noise). I hit it consistantly and like the feel alot. So much so that I picked up the Sumo2 3wood and a 3 Hybrid. Would have never thought I would be a Nike owner and now I own 3.

I think nike iron's are very ugly aside from the CCI's. If i didn't already have a nice driver the Sumo2 would be #1 on my list. I hit a friends and i loved it. I also really like the ignite putter series. The ignite 003 is what made me fall in love with mallet putters.

I was thinking of purchasing some SV Tour wedges before, but i think i just might go for it and buy one without trying it.

I'm a nike Driver Fan! Absolutely love their drivers. I can't hit anything further than I can hit my Sasquatch. Best purchase I've ever made. Doesn't even beat my brand new wedge or putter.

Yet to try the Nike CCI Forged. Not really interested in their wedges though.

I played 18 holes with it today. I couldn't really judge, because with my new grip, on a certain part of my finger/hand, the skin is tearing off until I build up callisues (sp?). So, I could barely hold the club. But I hit it well all day. The head is a little bit heavier than the Ping, so in the air, it flies a little bit furthur. I did notice a difference in "bite" though.

Haven't really given Nike wedges a shot, but so far I only like their Sumo1 driver. Perhaps now I will! I've been meaning to pick up an extra wedge...

The SV Tour wedges are some of the most consistent wedges I've ever played... and they DO come in a black finish, just not in all the lofts they have.

I play a 54 and a 60 SV Tour wedge w/ the 60 in black finish and they are probably my favorite clubs to hit. Anything at 110 yards and in to 40 yards out my 54 covers beautifully...... the 60 covers the rest.........

The control and spin on these clubs is second to none......

These are just solid wedges......

    • The MTB Prime and Prime X had issues with the cover being too soft and getting cut too easily. They said it was more prevalent in the Prime than the Prime X which I found odd because that was the exact opposite of my experience.
    • Day 120 - Played 18; much better than yesterday. Miss right now is off the heel of the club, so I need to sort that out.
    • Today we played Pease Golf Course in Portsmouth, NH. Course was in great shape but my game didn't show up. I will say I pitched and chipped fairly well but almost everything else was very hit or miss. Cost myself a lot hitting an in play drive with pulling my approach shots maybe 85% of the time. Finally figured out I had been swaying most of the round. Only took me until 13 to figure it out. Used what felt like a much more centered turn and the ballstriking improved. 18 tomorrow using a 2 man scramble format. Just looking to contribute. Been a blast though.
    • Day 22: Hit balls with 7-iron using mevo+ to track dispersion. Was out for a long time after work; 86 balls but the first 50+ were 50% swings focusing on top of backswing feel and then just hitting the ball as a psychic reward. Finished with 20 balls close to full speed. Pretty happy with dispersion and also no horrendous misses. I’m chunking my priority piece out into two separate feels, first and more important is the position/balance at top of backswing which is what I was working on. Once I have that engrained I’ll move to transition part.
    • FWIW I never really had issues with the previous generation of Snells. But… I'm not sure I played them a ton, either.
