Can anyone tell me the difference between the Top Flite D2 and the Top Flite Gamer?

The Gamer is a 3-piece ball, while the D2 is a 2-piece ball.

Haven't played the D2, however I did buy a dozen Gamers and play them.

I simply don't see how you can beat this ball for it's price. It was a very good ball for me.

Distance was the same off the tee as the Top Flite XL I was also playing at the time.

The ball felt substantially better (softer) of my irons than the XL did.

Trajectory was about the same.

The ball felt much better off the putter.

Shots checked up nicely.

I'd have no qualms playing this great ball again.

I prefer the Bridgestone E5+ in every category, though (sorry...you didn't ask about that ball but they are close enough in price......)

The D2 FEEL is the best ball out there. $16 for 15 balls in the BEST golf bargain out there. The ball gets GREAT distance and the ball is SOFT on chips and putts. It is as soft, if not softer, than the Pro V1. What a STEAL and GREAT BUY.

I've never played the gamers. I bout the feels thinking they were the gamers. The packaging is too dam similar haha.

Exactly. The D2 Feel feels very soft, very nice. But with my wedges, it just hops all over the green instead of checking or spinning back.
