well ive been working hard on it, my pre-shot routine goes naturally the same exact way. i think ive got it down now, but all i have to do is fix my drive and i can start lowering my scores..... let me know what you guys think this is my 5 iron normal swing......

If you work on your alignment/posture, you could easily drop 2-3 strokes instantly.

I could easily be wrong, but you looked aligned too much to the right. Or maybe you meant to have a slight closed stance.

when i was having my stance and posture problems, meaning just dident know what i should be at i tried all variations and this worked the best for me and gave me the most repeatable outcome nice small draw...... im kinda hunched down cause im 6'3 and standard length clubs

your practice swing looked better. club got further back and your finish was higher. rhythm seemed better.
swing overall seemed a little bit too flat imo.

There are flaws in your swing, but altering your set up would go a way to correcting these faults.

I think your weight is too much on the heels of your feet, try and feel like your weight is more over the balls of your feet.

I also think you stand a bit too upright and would like to see you bend forward from the hips a touch more.

Your feet look a bit narrow if anything, maybe you push them a tad further apart and turn your left foot so that the toe is pointing too the target a little bit more.

WHen the club shaft should be paralel to the ground and to the target line (or slightly left of it) it is pointing way too much to the right of it. This happens because of the over use of the wrists on the begining of the swing (the take away)

The classic "taking the club too far inside" problem. You seem to have a very abbreviated swing with not enough shoulder turn. You are bringing the club back mostly with arms. I don't have too much problem with your posture could be tweaked but it is usable in my opinion. Learn more about connection (keeping the arms in front of your body) and using primarily a shoulder turn and lift of the arms to bring the club back. I would try and find as many articles and videos about the takeaway and backswing as possible to get an understanding of what you are trying to achieve.

    • Day 1: After a long practice layoff due to injury, vacation, winter darkness, and work stuff, I'm trying to start back up again. Today I just hit balls with keys from my lesson 6-ish weeks ago; neutral grip and centered turn. Gonna work with that for a few weeks, see how it goes, and then get a lesson scheduled.
    • It’s not live on free to air tv in the UK, and hasn’t been since 1995. ( I pay a subscription to Sky for generally good golf coverage). There are limited highlights on the BBC for some golf events, but that’s it. Are other/all PGA events on NBC?  Allowing ticket scalping is a systemic failure across sports and showbiz, which could be legislated against, but in the UK is not in any meaningful way. I don’t know much about the secondary market in the US or anti scalping measures.  Charging more to keep prices down is an interesting concept, in practice no doubt you are right even if It sounds a bit Catch 22  Do you think sports tickets and broadcast rights  should be sold on a purely capitalist basis, or is there an argument to say that some sports might benefit more from wider exposure and affordable access. ( golf in the US is apparently not one of these if tickets sold out at those prices so quickly)  Fans might benefit from cheaper tickets and in the UK at least, TV coverage that reaches a wider audience.
