if you can choose either....which would you go with?

Vokey, & I did, even tho I hate the look of them & love the cg12/14 design..
They simply are just that much better. The face really grips the ball, especially when it is wet. It scuffs the balls like no other club on every full shot, fyi.

Vokey hands down.

I carry CG2 irons and should be carrying CG wedges, just for matching's sake. That said, Spin Mills all the way. Any loft wedges that I don't carry in spin mills is just because they don't make them (yet). After 6 months or so they quit cutting the ball.

Cg14. Vokeys lack a lot of feel for me and their standard grinds (or lack there of) is unappealing.

I demoed both of these, and really wanted to like the CG better....but in the end, I thought the Vokey felt better in my hands.

It seems to be a little heavier than the Cleveland. I usually tee off first thing in the morning, when the dew is still pretty heavy, and I've felt that it made a difference when trying to smack the ball out of wet grass.

I went with the Vokey, although I don't think the difference between the two is very big.

Confidence is so big in golf & I know someone else on here said they don't like the way the Vokey looks, but I love the way it looks & just pulling it out of my bag inspires confidence for me.

I can't speak to the spin on the CG14 because I've never used it in a round but the spin on the Vokey is just nasty.
