Alright, well I know that mostly every one just wears one glove, and with me being right handed i wear a glove on my left hand. Lately i have started getting little blisters/calices(sp) on my right hand, right below where the fingers bend in the middle joint. Do you think I should get a glove for that hand or is it something im doing wrong, or what?

Its not always how you drive the ball, but how it arrives.

YOu can try a product called Dry hands that will reduce the moisture. I use it and love it. No more sweating at all. No more slippage, means no more blisters for me.

I used to use a glove, but I struggle to get one in a proper size. My fingers are long and thin, so I either end up with right length but baggy, or too short fingers. I didn't like the feel of either of these situations so ended up going gloveless.

I do put a bit of tape on a couple of my fingers though. Maybe you could do this where you are getting blisters?

One way to garuntee blisters is to twist the hands around trying to get into a good grip after your hands are already on the club. This just rolls the skin back and forth and puts it in a bind between the hand and the grip. Try to get your grip right where you want it from the moment you put your hands on the club.

And imagine you are holding a full tube of toothpaste with the cap off. You want your grip pressure light enough so as not to make the tootpaste come out.

Short term, if you need a second glove go for it. Just expect some funny looks. But it's not unheard of.

Wow! I really need some of that, my hands get so sweaty that I cant hold onto the club. I live in Canada so I have no idea where to get it.

I think there is something fundamentally wrong with how you grip the glove.

However, here is a two glove kind of guy. http://golf.about.com/od/thebigbreak/p/tommy_gainey.htm

what type of tape?

Its medical tape, called microporous or micropore tape, depending on the brand. Its usually used to hold dressings and suchlike in place. The stuff I use is 1" wide. I keep a roll of it in my bag. Although once I put it on I don't usually need to replace it, unless I get soaked or something.

You should be able to find it in any drug store, or supermarket. Give it a try.

I build slight calusses (spelling?) beneath middle joint in my ring and middle fingers on my right hand (right handed golfer).

I've never had overly develop, though.

Full corded grips really do help in ways I never realized until I played with them in light rain a time or two. I'm willing to bet they'll reduce your need to attempt wearing two gloves.

Alright thanks, I will give it a try, is it very expensive?

Tape is a great solution to blisters. If you're more comfortable with two gloves though go with that. I think that the tape would be a way more affordable solution.

Its not expensive at all.

Here is an example of the stuff less than $1 for 10 yards, bearing in mind to wrap a finger only takes a couple inches of tape, it would definately be cheaper than buying 2 gloves and replacing them when they wear out. If it works out you can probably buy it in bulk even cheaper.

I wear 2 gloves all the time. I am very comfortable with it.

The 1 thing I have noticed about golf gloves, they need to fit much more snug then I was used to while playing ball, but I have adjusted.

I had that problem with the traditional rubber grip that comes on most irons (more like a car tire not the soft squishy type). I then switched all my grips to soft Winn grips (DSI and G8) and now I don't need to wear a glove and I don't get blisters.
