ok, for all you Scotty owners
here's a poll for you

you spend $300 + on a Scotty putter....we all agree it's the best of the best (Scotty haters need not apply)

do you still sport a Scotty headcover?
no headcover?
or a cheapo or "other brand" headcover?

i am leaning towards a no name or other brand, simply because i play a lot of public courses and honestly dont trust some of the dudes that golf there
the last thing i want is to have someone see the headcover and snipe my putter, while im inside

BUT...a good friend says to me" dude, r u crazy? u spend all that money on the putter, you have to sport the Scotty cover!"
he does make a point - except the silver and 3 red dots cover is hidious

made me wonder - what do other Scotty owners use?

(PS - sorry if this topic has been covered - if it is has please direct me)

Scotty Cameron in disguise link

I use the real head cover. If someone's ballsy enough to reach into my bag and steal a club or a head cover, they better cover their own head, quickly.

I use a ladybug plush headcover on my putter. Not really so much because im afraid of having the putter taken, but because the studio select headcovers are f##king hidious...

    • Day 446 - 2025-12-20 Woke up early and got some swings in before teaching putting all day. Looking forward to doing the same tomorrow.
    • It's miles better, though.
    • Went up to Erie for a lesson. I still need to work on how I shift my weight into my right leg and turn into the right leg. I extend it too much and externally rotate it too much. That all causes me to over rotate the hips and cause weight shift issues in the downswing. I need to feel like my right leg gains flex (it doesn’t), and my knee cap faces forward. The right hip sinks back and right. I need a need a ton more internal rotation. I still have some right elbow issues in the backswing. The path is better, but too much right elbow bend. I need to maintain width in the right elbow and let my right shoulder retract more, let’s say at A3, which helps keep that right arm extended.
    • Day 130 12-20 Today was just swinging what i had and go from there. Did focus on getting to lead side. Recorded swings for lesson  and hit real balls.
