There are tons of great wedges. Check out a local store and try a bunch. See which ones feel the best and are in your price range.

I've tried them all and most are very good wedges with today's technology, but in my opinion the Cally X-Forged are the best. Thy have better feel, I can spin them more comfortably and they rsut slightly in the natural finish to give them more bite.

The only caution is they may shred some new balls at first.

Exactly. There is no "best" wedge. It's whatever you like the feel of. I can tell you the most popular are the Titleist Vokey's, but I play with other ones that I think feel great too.

I agree the Callaway X-forged wedges are good as are many of other wedges out there. However, I think your rust = more spin theory is flawed. I allow my wedges to rust purely for the aesthetics…..but have never found a rusted one to "spin" more. Just my 2 cents.

So if it's worked for me and it hasn't for you, then my theory is flawed? OK.....

You took the words out of my mouth. He needs to do some research and realize that IT WAS PROVEN

I just picked up two new CG12's in 56 and 60 degree and really like them. I picked them up from Sports Authority with a 25% off deal they were doing and paid $82 each. Just be prepared to clean them after every shot, they get alot of gunk lodged in the "zip grooves."
