Ever struck anybody with a golf shot?

Just a question. Do you think someone could actually sue you for medical expenses if they were hit on the course? I mean, it's like going to a baseball game and getting hit by a foul ball. You take a chance either way. Just curious because you never know in this day and age with some people.

I've hit my playing partner once or twice but the shots were so bad they were bouncing along the ground rather slowly when they made contact. Had a couple of near misses when I went out a couple of times with my mates before I started playing golf properly. Both were "hey you should probably move", followed by "nah you can't hit it that badly it's pretty much impossible to hit me", followed by me taking hasty evasive action

That's how I wore one in the back one day ... was standing at near right angles next to my mate taking his shot and somehow he's managed to slice it sideways and got me right in the middle of the back. Luckily the slice was that wicked that he didn't get any power behind it at all. Will never forget that one!
