Personally I don't usually use them. Been playing the 983k and lost the cover so I never replaced. Also took off the 3 wood and hybrid cover as well. Didn't have to worry about the driver getting scratched or dinged because I stripped all the paint off and polised it.

Josh Premuda linked to Rocket Sox in "Hittin' the Links" a while back. I would love to get a couple of those. They are kind of expensive though. Golf Gods has some options at their shop.

I've got a gopher on the driver and use the stock Titleist headcovers on the FW Woods. Any golf shop will carry something for you and there are tons of options on the internet.

For my wives cheapy clubs we got these Acuity head covers from Dicks. They work really well, are not all that big (smaller than my 460 cc Nike cover but still fits) and only cost about $8. The magnetic seal is pretty cool, too, and it goes on and off quickly.

The one time I grabbed a few clubs and went to the range I didn't put my head covers on and my driver got a bit dinged up just from bouncing around in the back of my Jeep, so now I try to keep them covered at all times.

Speaking of head covers, a couple of weeks ago I grabbed my 3 wood and while focusing on visualizing my shot I took a practice swing. The head cover went about 25 yards out into a nice big mud puddle. Turns out I grabbed my 5 instead which was sitting handle up next to my 3 but with the head cover still on. Live and learn :p

I use my stock head covers.

I'm not a big fan of TaylorMade's cover for the R7, but I absolutely love Titleist's covers for their entire line.

I keep the stock headcovers. People at my country club aren't gonna steal the clubs and I don't enjoy spending money on things that may not even fit and that aren't horribly necessary.
