I have 2 of the 3DX RC hybrids, along with a 5-PW iron set. I had only hit a few hybrids before, but these are amazing. I have more confidence in my hybrids than any other club at the moment, so easy to hit.

Awesome club and very forgiving...very easy to get distance and very good out of the rought, can't say anything bad about this club other than the grip it comes with i didn't like, but thats no big deal

I've had my 3DX RC Hybrid/Iron set for a couple months now and I really like them. The hybrids are really easy to hit. I don't think twice about hitting them out of the rough. Right now my handicap is a 28 but I shot a 46 in 9 holes the other day and have been consistently hitting the 3 hybrid between 175-185 yards. Before buying these clubs I never even carried a 3 iron in my bag, now that I have the hybrid it's one of my favorite clubs in the bag.

I've got 2 4dx ironwoods and i love them. I hit them so easily. I can imagine the 3dx would be just as good.

Played a whole season with it. I've hit a couple different kinds borrowed from my buddies. I'd consider it one of the best hybrids on the market. I lost the headcover and busted it up a bit but the performance is still fine. I'd probably get the exact same club again. I'm finding myself to love nickent products and I'd definitely recommend them anyday.

I want one of these in a 20 degree model but they're backordered everywhere.

I have the non-RC version and think they're great although my swing changes of late mean their club faced is too closed for my tastes now so I'm hooking it far too often. Still though, they go a mile and are easy to hit off any surface.

Yeah I have the DC in 17 degrees. Great off the tee and cuts through rough. Makes par 5s easily reachable in 2.

Don't know about the RC version, but I just picked up two of the 3DX DC Ironwoods, a 20* and 23*

FYI - Anybody in Phoenix area - check it out - Vans is selling the 3DX DC ironwoods for $60 ! Pretty good deal. Apparently they bought a big stock of them for a tournament give-away and the tournament was cancelled. So they are blowing them out until all gone.

I can't seem to find anyone who has the RC model or any reviews. Must be really backordered.

    • Yeah, negative PCC days are more likely to be counted in the best 8, but the PCC decreases the downward impact of these scores, as it increases your posted differential.  As for the conditions, it really is funny how the scores posted don't always reflect what seem like tough conditions.   Its clear that you thrive in difficult conditions.
    • I guess someone decided to do more work for little benefit then.  I might be the lucky one then. I have a +3 and a +1 on my counted scores.
    • I've only seen one positive PCC since it began, a +3 during a tournament on a tough, firm course with the wind blowing at least 30 mph. A scratch golfer got so frustrated he pulled out after 9. Sadly, the +3 did nothing for me as I was a good 10-12 strokes above the score counting. Currently 3 of my last 7 scores have a negative PCC. Of course, all 3 of those are in my best eight. I'm puzzled, as the wind was blowing pretty good on at least two of those rounds.
    • It changed to the best 8 of the last 20, in the 2020 changes.  When I attended a Handicapping Workshop in 2020, we were told that they anticipated that the PCC would apply in about 10% of the rounds.  That's about what I see now, maybe slightly more often since the algorithm was tweaked not long ago.  And remember, the PCC will adjust MOST of the scores on a given day towards the mean.  With a positive PCC (more high scores), most players scores wouldn't be in the best 8/20 even with the PCC, so the impact is nothing, although the few players who had a good day will see the impact on their HI increased.   I believe it will be very rare that a player has even two scores in their best 8 with any kind of PCC.
    • There was a PCC of +3 at Talamore the day I played in Pinehurst! Somehow that course was killing us all, lol.  If it is still the best 10 out of 20, So, it would amount to .1. It matters more if you end up with like 5 out of 10 of your counted differentials having PCC. That could equal a full stroke.  Yea, I think it will influence handicaps like 0 to let's say 2 for handicaps.
