Driving problems!!!!!

Golf is the sport i love to hate. its fun but its so frustrating. So i have only been golfing a short amount of time (5 months) Im ok with my irons, better than most beginners.But im horribly inconsistent with my driver. I have been getting no air on my drives mostly line drives and many grass burners. i have tried teeing the ball higher to no avail. From time to time i have the occasional good drive but cant seem to duplicate it. Any advice.

where do you position the ball in relation to your front foot

You need to tee the ball up inside your left foot because the driver must be caught on the upswing

Leave the Driver at home when you are playing a round but practice with it on the range; take a lesson if you can.

Use the 3-wood off the tee until you feel good about the driver. Thinking you are going to get a bad shot probably doesn't contribute to very many good shots.

The thing that helped most with my driver is being told to "drag the club back as far as you can". For whatever reason it gave me a fluid motion and straightened up my shot. Driver is usually the hardest club to hit.

try and concentrate on one thing when you swing - i know a begginer who reads and has 300 swing thoughts per second!

rythmn and width are big things in good driving - i would also suggest trying an older school driver - 200cc head - its very easy to get the modern frying pan on graphite and slash away - with a small headed driver you are forced to swing correctly

then get a big headed driver and watch in fly
