Welcome to yet another topic created by me. I don't like my putter very much, and am looking for a new one. The most I'm willing to pay is $150, maybe $175.

I'd go with a used Cameron or a new Ping. I can't suggest a style because that's up to you. But Ping has awesome fitting tools. For example they have a fitting putter with a telscopic shaft. You can set the length to what feels exactly right, then the head will bend up and down to level the toe to the ground no matter your adress position. Then you look and the club and there are your specs. You could use that to spec any style or brand putter, so check it out.

I love my Ping G5i craze-e, easy to align and hard to mishit.

I'd suggest the Odyssey White Hot XG line, specifically the #9. The best deal is the Ping Karsten series which is $89 for some great putters.

Okay, you seem to be close to my handicap. I went through a few putters before I ended up with a Odyssey White Hot Sabertooth. I lost my original oldschool blade putter which I was pretty good with but went through a few trial and error periods with putters. This putter has saved many strokes for me. It's right in your price range so give it a try!

I would say give as many as you can a try, having said that, for your price range I would look at Odyssey and Yes! Golf putters.

Gonna be a lot of opinions on this one.

I like most of Odysseys white hot XG putters. Used a Rossie for a long time. If you like the insert I think you will find one at a good price point that will work for you. Although I liked the Rossie, I Switched over to a Yes! Tiffany.

The Yes! hit great in the store, but I found it to be very unforgiving and innacurate on mis-hits. But, when you hit it right, it was a dream. That putter pointed me towards the putter I use now, a Rife 2 bar Hybrid (center shaft).

The Rife is easily the best putter I've ever hit with. It's out of your price range by $50, but I'd at least look at one. Also, I saw a post in the sale section for a Rife 2 bar mallet for $160 shipped. That's in your price range and I'd look at that as well.

I love my Rossa Monza Spider. Can't say a bad thing about it, though some people may find it too large for them. Its hard to mishit a putt with it.

My dad has an old Ping Anser, and I love that, so I might go with a Ping putter. I also forgot to mention that I don't really like mallet putters, but thanks for the suggestions.

If you like the old Anser my guess is you would like the Karsten that was suggested earlier. I know it's cheap, but it gets great reviews and would be available in any length or lie you like.

These get great reviews, but I would definately call this a mallet putter and the op said he wasn't really into mallet putters.

I was going to suggest odyssey but considering you like the feel of the Ping Answer, the odyssey may have a feeling that is too "soft" for you.

Check out the Yes putters. I putted with a Yes Sophia....let me tell you...it had a nice solid feel to it. If I hadnt come across the odyssey black #9 Id still be using it.

You might prefer the Yes Tracy II or Callie....give em a whirl and let me know what you think...

I suggest you try the Ping Karsten Series Anser or Anser 2. Both are about $90 new and both feel great (to me). I bought the Anser myself.

      Went back to controlling my knees. That part was getting a bit sloppy when I worked on my backswing. Right hip didn't slide or gain internal rotation. I would just rotate back and around and the left knee would be in a bad spot. Really focusing now on keeping my left knee very stable and straighter in the backswing. I can't go back to the old pattern of overturning the hips. I was returning to my old pattern to time my downswing. Turn forever.  Left knee controls both knees and hips, acting as an anchor. Feel like it straightens a bit.   Hinge sooner and faster. Not in a way that sends the hands out and flips the club over. I still noticed when the hands get to A2.5, the hands would want to flip over and flatten the club out a ton.  Still trying to figure out how to roll the forearms a bit open and not just roll the club inside a ton.  Figure out the timing to get the hands down. Still getting a bit of right elbow collapsing in the downswing because the arms are too high when I turn. Everything is happening sooner now. If the hips are controlled, the backswing is shortened. Because it is shortened I don't know when to get the hands down and I just turn because the downswing is a go.  Very slow (50%) swings are decent.

      Day 207-12 Wider backswing and arm reconnecting in downswing. Did a much better job with proper wrist movements through downswing today.

      Trackman place today. I broke my tripod so could only film by hand the video the venue’s cameras generated. This is an 8 iron. Amazing how odd this feels relative to how it looks. Not similar!
