Seems like it could work. I hate having to lay my putter or wedge on the fringe and getting the grip soaked. I thought about buying one but couldn't find any reviews.

Not a bad idea.

I usually just bring my towel with me and when I'm putting, I lay down my wedge with the grip on the towel so it doesn't get wet. When I'm done, I just wipe it all down.

It's a great idea, I remember this from the Golf Channel as this is one of the finalists which made into the production stage.
I could not find it in my local stores and obviously, at $20 a pop it's kind of hard to convince a lot of golfers to go for this. I'd found in the past a free shoe spike tool came in the replacement box also works fine for repairing ball mark and prop up your extra clubs around the green.
Tonyy's idea of using a towel is not bad, and I had found the largest cloth pin I could get from a craft store works also ( approx 4 1/2" long and cost $2.00 ).
Price point is too high to get the consumer cross the decision line of purchase.

It was the winner of the Golf Channel's Fore Inventors Only show last year. Part of the winning prize was to have an infomercial shot about it, but I've never seen one. I think they were a bit disappointed it was the winner because it is a small product and tough to push. How would you do a half hour infomercial on it. Some of the other finalist like the Z Factor would have been better winners in this respect.

It is a good product, but I agree it is overpriced.

I've been considering opening up an Ebay store and selling something that's relatively small, easy to ship. I've also not heard a thing about the product and was curious what golfers thought of it.

The other website I posted on seemed to draw much more negative responses, or maybe brutally honest responses.

I'm hoping to get some more posts on both sites.

I've not contacted the inventor and/or website yet. Didn't want to jump into something without having some feedback first.

My pocket already has: ball markers, tees, golf balls, and a divot repair tool.
The last thing I'd want to tote around is a giant clothespin so I don't have to bend over to pick up a club I left on the fringe.

If you want something light weight and easy to ship how about those magnetic molecular therapy golf bracelets. Now those are usefull :)

My pockets are usually pretty full during a round as well. . .I understand the dilemna. But, at the same time, its not exactly something that will get lost in your pocket. In fact, I would guess due to its size, it would be much easier to maneuver in and out of your pocket vs. a tee or marker or tool.

I have a Trion-z bracelet. They are great products, but they are all over the place. I'm trying to find a product that's new and useful. See, I've had lower back problems for years, and one of the worst things during a round is bending over to grab a pin, and a club, then your ball. Maybe another club, because you weren't sure about what kind of shot or lie you had. . .I'm not trying to advocate or argue, but these are the things I'm thinking of. I'm probably going to pass on it. I'm getting much more on the negative than the positive. I will probably just buy one for me and see what I think! Ya, I would never buy a 20 dollar clothes pin but see how it could be useful for someone with back problems. Kind of like those little suction things that go on the ends up putters that old men use.

Like others have said if keeping your grip dry is the main concern then there are other ways to do it that don't involve carrying extra tools or an extra $20. So you're left with only the ones who have bad backs are willing to drop $20 to save them bending over a few extra times per round.

How often does this situation even come up anyway? Personally I use a carry bag so if I'm not sure what club I want I'll just walk over with my bag and put it down close enough to swap easily but usually I'll know which club I want to hit. If it's not a constant issue for someone then they're not going to spend that sort of money to fix it.

The product screams of one of those novelties that golf stores carry that only end up getting bought but someone who's looking for a present for a "golfer" who isn't important enough to them to buy an expensive present for. If you were planning to get a lot of those type of things for your ebay store then getting a few Club Caddies wouldn't hurt but to specialise in them wouldn't be a good idea if you ask me.

Precisely. That's all that's needed in my book. I use a longer (driver) tee. Works fine.
