How do you like them so far. I have one of those old ping hoofer, but now that I play almost all Titty stuff, I really want one of their stand bags. I like walking so the the lighter the better. Something that I also like about Titty bags are the cool colors they offer.

thanks!!

I agree. The titleist x86 bag is an awesome bag. My only gripe that I have with the bag is that it doesn't have a putter well....otherwise I think it's perfect!

I have the Titleist x86 as well and it is a great bag, very light and comfortable. Sun Mountain makes Titleist bags so you can't go wrong with them either.

I think he wants "titty" on it though seeing as how he plays mostly Titleist!

The X86 is a nice bag, i had the X76, was lovely too. I prefer Ping bags - a little lighter and better stand, but that's just me.

Had a Titleist x86 stand bag, and it was okay for carrying but if you ever take a cart they suck. Because of that "foot" that extends the legs they don't fit right on the back of a cart. This is totally my personal opinion but I think the Ping Hoofer is a much better all around golf bag. I ended up giving my x86 away to a friend and bought a new hoofer. My friend then did the exact same thing as he didn't like the Titleist bag either.

Plus who cares, your bag has to match your clubs? I carry one ping club and that one will be replaced this coming year and I don't see me getting any other type of bag anytime soon.

My experience is totally the opposite...I use to play Ping irons and had a Ping Hoofer and could not stand it and before even changing my sticks to Titleist I bought the Titleist X86 bag and think it is a more functional bag then the Ping due to the full length dividers and the way it forces the clubs to hang when on the legs versus the PING...I had way too much trouble getting my clubs in and out of the Ping bag...as far as fitting on a cart neither bag was very good but the trick to the X86 bag is to turn it sideways because of how the mechanism for the legs sticks out…then it works better on a cart…just my 2 cents...

True...no one says you have to have a bag that matches your clubs as I am now looking at the Sun Mountain Four 5 (which is basically the X86 with the 14 divider system) because I like having my clubs organized, however, the original post was about Titleist Bags and if that is what the golfer wants then he should have it LOL!!!

I now its not a stand bag, but I just got the mid-size version of the staff bag. Its the Ferrari of golf bags. I just had to chime in, they really now how to make a good bag, only complaint is that for its size, there is rather limited storage. But plenty for my needs. Considering I never walk 18.

I've carried a PING Hoofer bag since I graduated from my junior set. Up until this year, I always carried PING iron too. I no longer have a single PING club in the bag but the Hoofer isn't going anywhere.

I like my Titleist bag. I bought it last summer when I still played all Titleist equipment and even though I play all Mizuno now, its such a nice bag that I dont care if the clubs and bag dont match. Ive heard that the legs on the stand bags are known for being weak though...

    • Day 24: did a stack session. Worked a bit on downswing feels during breaks.
    • Day 444 - 2025-12-18 Light day of hotel room work. GEARS Summit v2.0 today. Good day.
    • Day 38 (18 Dec 25) - got out in the backyard with grandson this afternoon.  We got into a little game of pitching the ball from about 25yds to a target point just off the asphalt lane behind the backyard.  Goal - just clear it with a quick hop and stop.  Focused on using the wedge swing motion I was talking with the course pro yesterday….smooth and thru just bruising the grass.  In addition to a concentrated focus on technique, it also called for a quiet mind locked in on target point.  Rehearsed this with both the 50° and 55° wedges.
    • I listened to the Shaun Webb one about the swing coach app. Sounds like a great thing and will (hopefully) be very useful for me. I do think the hosts are underestimating where AI could be in a few years. Right now it's just regurgitating stuff that it has been told or it has scrubbed from somewhere else and a human guiding things will be quite a lot more helpful than just the AI, but it's going to keep developing and it will reach the stage where it's figuring this stuff out on its own. Time will come when it will have you do a TPI style screen and take various height/arm length/leg length etc. measurements, have you tell it some history and your time constraints and goals and what not and it will watch a video of your swing face on and DTL and it will know exactly what you need to work on.
    • I found it entertaining, but the announcing was lousy.  How did the measuring on the final shot start with Rory being closer and being told he won, and then with no explanation it turns out Scottie won?  Weird.
