So is anyone getting this game? It has two of Ozzy's best songs IMO (Crazy Train and Mr. Crowley) plus a ton of other awesome songs.

I'll be picking it up for PS2, wouldn't mind having a PS3 to play it on so I could take advantage of the downloadable content but I don't play enough video games to justify the purchase. Probably just get the disc, can't really see me using another guitar or the drum and microphone set as most of my friends don't play. Looking forward to it!

I learned how to play real guitar (acoustic, electric, bass & upright bass). Twenty years, a dozen bands, 5 albums and 3 demos later I gave it up. I wish more kids would learn to play real guitar and not this game. That being said, these games are cool. Have you all seen the new game with the AC/DC live songs on them? I think that is how it works. I just saw a glimpse of the comercial.

I actually do play the guitar, bass and little bit of drums...maybe thats why i like this game...i also happen to know someone who began playing the guitar because they liked guitar hero so much....so if anything this game adds to music and does not detract, in my experience that is.. I did hear about the live AC/DC, sounds cool!

I feel the same way, I never play any guitar hero or rock band. I never have and I think they are stupid. I hate it when kids are like yeah I mastered "song" last night, and I'll be like cool, I want to hear it sometime, and then they'll be like, oh no, I did it on my ps3. My reaction is like

    • Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.
    • That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.
    • Day 19, 1/19.  Finished work in time to spend 25 minutes hitting balls (hit 15) indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Usual focus.
    • Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
