Ok I just got back from the range and I am a happy camper. At first my driver was not that great then at setup I would focus my eyes on the BACK of the ball. Well after 10 swings I can honestly say that I have never hit the ball so flushed on the sweet spot consitently. Next time you are at the range try that and see how you do.

Thanks for the tip =]
I'll try it this weekend at the driving range when I go with my dad. I've got tryouts for my high school next week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so I could use all the advice I can get.
Once again,
Thanks!

I haven't tried but I read a tip from Natalie Gulbis that you should try to focus on hitting the tee. Another one is to imagine hitting the ball as if it was cut vertically in half and you are hitting the flat side (equator) facing you.

This may be a problem, but I don't actually look at anything in particular. It's kind of a "soft focus" deal. I look in the general area of the ball, but don't get so caught up in "look at THAT dimple!" or anything. When I do that, I tend to get a little stiffer in my swing and my weight transfer goes to pot because, subconsciously, my body is saying "don't move! keep looking exactly there!" or something.

Same here. I think if you get caught up in the little things like that the golf swing becomes much more complicated than it needs to be. Something else thats funny is that after nearly every swing I have almost no recollection of sounds or distractions or anything around me.
