anyone had a chance to see or better yet, hit these in person? I have a set of Nike Slingshot OSS and looking to upgrade to a new set of irons. Been eyeing the Adams A3 but saw these new forged version A4s...

I'm hitting the Tech OS now and really like them. But you know the OSS is super game improvement and the A4s are more of a players club. The will still be more forgiving than a blade, but you will notice a difference. From the Adam's site "we developed the Idea Tech a4 Hybrids and Forged Irons to meet the needs of better players". They still look more like a cavity back, but I don't believe they will be as forgiving as the OSS Nikes. Just a thought.... jmoc

I saw them at my local Golfsmith the other day, but didn't hit them as they only had S300s and didn't have their demos yet. Nice looking club. The soles are wider than you'd think. Also, the irons are longer in length than normal, like the A3s, to close the distance gaps with the hybrids.

It seems as if they've abandoned the "High handicapper who wants game improvement clubs but still wants the irons to look somewhat normal" market, that the previous a3's filled.
