There were not any Ben Hogan balls tested. The Callaways you mentioned were I believe from an earlier year. Other 2008 Callaway stats are listed on previous pages of the thread but if there are any that you don't see I'd be glad to research those as well. Anyone else?

As the thread gets longer, I think I'll consolidate all the info so you guys don't have to read every page to see if something has been listed already. I'll get to all that copying and pasting after the holiday.

I'm talking about free. I'm not going to pay for a golf ball selection service.

Ill comment on what I can:

Bridgestone B330- Pretty long, very firm feel and low to mid spin in relation ot others B330s-Long,soft, and tons of spin. Right up there with the ProV1 IMO Z-URS- Average distance, average spin, very soft feel. Z-URC- Longer than Z-URS, almost the same spin, slightly firmer feel Best of luck in your search

Thanks for your comments! I think I'm going to stick with Volvik for now but if I make a change, it will be to one of the Bridgestones, probably one of the e5/e6 series balls due to cost.

One more please. Nike Power Distance Straight

Im sorry the Nike Power Distance straight wasn't available at the time of testing or just wasn't tested.

I always check Golf Magazine. . . . they publish infos on different golf balls. . .

That's where I've posted the information from so far. I'm referencing the Feb. 2008 issue where they tested a ton of balls. Hopefully they will continue the tradition. I'll be looking for the 2009 issue in a month or two I suppose.

I am in Piney Flats. I go to Greeneville often. Played 9 at Andrew Johnson last month for the first time. I also plan to play Twin Creeks.

AJ is my home course. I had a membership to Twin Creeks. If you are a Moose Lodge member, you can get a membership at Twin Creeks for about $150 then you can ride for $6 per nine. That's a hell of a deal! Then after 18 holes it's just 50 cents a hole. It's kinda an "executive course" on the front. Short holes with small greens, but target golf nonetheless. The back is wide open. They have some of the hardest par 3s in the area, definately in Greeneville. Just from memory, the tips of the par 3s play: #6 185, #9 190ish, #15 170ish, #17 195ish. Bring some hybrids!

I liked AJ except for the one hole. You know which one I am talking about. I was even par the first 3 holes and cant remember which hole it was but you layup twice and wound up chipping short of the green and my ball rolled down the hill twice before I got it to finally stick up there. Nearly set a personal high record on that hole. lol

Number... F*&%ing.... 7!!!!! I know I know!!! It's a double dogleg that goes 250 straight away with OB all down the left. Then you go about 180 to the left on a 90 degree angle with a creek all down the left and trees on the right. Then you have a 65-85 yard shot up the hill to a 90 degree dogleg right.

I put up a 12 on that par 5 once! That third shot is the very reason I have a 64* wedge in my bag, no If you are even 1 yard short of the fringe on the 30 foot uphill and 45 degree incline green, the ball rolls right back to your feet. OMG, forget about a touch shot. Just give me the 64* and let me hit it hard. Anyway, back on topic haha..... Anymore ball inquiries?
