some pretty sweet deals, and all are new clubs. So the pro at my country club has contracts with all of the big companies, and he gets all of these extra clubs free, so he sells them at rock bottom prices to make cash for himself. dont ask about the putter, though.

I snagged mine complete for 310, which is pretty good, considereing heads go for around 200.

The shafts are very expensive, i have seen the Shafts alone go pulled on WRX for 300 plus

I bid on and won a Cleveland HiBore 3W for $53 total. Fedex folded the box in half, so the shaft arrived in three pieces... I called a local golf store and they quoted me $125 dollars to reshaft it plus a new grip. The same shaft alone was $110! Oh. No thanks.

Back to eBay. I found and purchased a Grafalloy ProLaunch Blue for $30 total. I like the shaft, I have it on both my Cleveland Launcher 5 and 7 woods. After I reshafted the club it was cheaper for me to take it to the shop for regripping; $6.

At this point I was into this club for $89. Still not too bad a price! I hit it pretty darn good too! So it was worth it...Now the punch line! Fedex paid me the original $53 back for it. Doing the math the club cost me $36 total!! A really good deal!

The 2 fairway woods in the bag (bought last month) are EUR 249 (Tour Launch seems to warrant a 25% price increase)

But the shop had the High Launch barcodes on the shaft - EUR 199.

So the 2 woods should have cost me EUR 498 but only cost EUR 398. After trading in my old clubs and using some vouchers earned during the summer - I only spent EUR 86. Not a bad day at the office!

Delighted with the results so far!
