Do you ever take a video of your swing?

I just ordered a Camcorder so I can look at my swing. It is so easy to critique someone else's swing but not one's own swing.

Do you ever take a video of your swing? How do you use the video for analyzing what you are doing correctly or incorrectly? Is there some software that helps with this?

I am planning to take a video of my swing from a face on view and view from down the target line (?back view?).

I've made more headway by using video than anything else. It eliminates the perceptions and replaces it with the ugly reality!

But i used my friends Dare, a cell phone that can take slo mo video, way to cool! can see all the wrist cock, when you hit it fat, thin, net stuff.

Upload your videos to the following website and it has all the tools you need to analyse your swing just like the pros do. Otyhers will analyse your swing as well. I am waiting for some warm weather so I can do it with my swing.

Yeah, and speaking of, I need to take some more soon. I've been trying to work on some swing changes, and it's really hard to tell how well I've incorporated them without seeing it. I think video is also useful because we often think we're doing one thing when we're not at all.

I know... it's so sad how different the picture in my head is from my actual swing videos, but it has been a very helpful tool.
