Specifically on a 4 hybrid. I'm thinking of adding a wedge to my bag and taking my 3 iron and 4 iron out of the bag.

I want to replace them with a 4 hybrid.

What are your opinions of the Nike Sumo series?

What are the performance diffs between the squared one and the rounded model?

What do you think of their stock shafts?

Hey Dub, I use the round 4 hybrid and I love it. The stock mitsu shafts are great as is the sound they make when struck. My only complaint is that I hit it so damn high it can be a problem in the wind, probably standard with all hybrids tho

The high traj. sounds good, actually.

It would have been tough on me today, though. The winds were tough on the course today. I had a ton of trouble keeping the ball down...even with my driver.

The square one has a large draw bias and the round one is more of a players hybrid

While this statement is more broad and succinct than I Would have been it is a true generality. The offset of the squared version can cause hooking issues for better players. The "standard" version is solid piece of equipment, having said that I do not like the stock graphite shaft but that is true of most hybirds on the market. The V2 seems to be working out for you, you could always throw one in there. Have you looking into the ping hybrids, I really liked the G10.

I had some serious issues with long term durablity of the Sumo hybrid (round) that I played. Some nicks and marks are to be expected but I found them to be excessive with the Nike (as compared to the Titlest and Cobras that I now play).
More of a personal note, I really came to dislike the stock shaft in the Nikes, way to much flex and too light for me.
I would suggest taking a look at the Cobra Baffler Pro, they run about the same price or a little bit less than the Nike and, in my opinon, are vastly superior.

I used to play the round one but I never really liked the feel. That is just what happened for me. I would recommend going to a golf shop and hitting a few hybrids maybe it'll work out better for you than it did for me.

I've hit other clubs but won't play with anything unless it's a Titleist. When I hit the Nike, it felt pretty good, with good results.

I was at my local golf shop the other day and was actually talking to the owner about the Nike clubs, etc.. He said that they have more Nike returns/trade ins than any other brand. Reason being, like 90% of the people complained that they were losing distance. They might've hit it great and straight as an arrow but the distance thing was a problem for them. I'd rather be straight and safe than sorry. On the other hand, 90% of golfers have shafts that are waaaaay too stiff for them, which means loss of distance. Maybe those people fall into that category, I don't know. Like Titleist Man said, just go out and hit various hybrids, etc.. It could be the $20 "no name brand" or the Nike's...just get whatever works best for YOU! You could probally even get a custom hybrid made for YOU/YOUR swing, fairly cheap.
