I saw it in a store and it looked very good. So I was just wondering if anyone has hit this club yet. Im looking at getting a new hybrid and I wanted to see what the people on this forum think about it. Thanks.

i hit it yesterday, and was quite dissapointed, as it seemed much harder to hit than other companies hybrids. it also felt quite unbalanced. :(

That's not a review. What does "unbalanced" even mean in a hybrid?

I've written up thoughts on the main page in the past (see the 909 preview) and reviewed the 585.H, too. This week I'm going to Myrtle Beach to review the 909s.

I wouldn't worry about his post, no offense, but a titleist club wouldn't probably feel good anyway in the hands of a higher handicapper. No insults meaned, they're just geared for lower handicaps.

saw them in auchterlonie's today in st andrew's, beautiful clubs but as said before I think they are for better players. A big improvement on the 585 imo. Reminded me a little of the Callawat FT Hybrid that Phil uses.

flushed it feels awesome, really good and flew about 215 yards for me which was good.

sorry should explain, unbalanced means the weighting of the club may feel wrong or be to biased.(i am aware some clubs are ment to be to stop hooks, but this one wasnt!)

I got to hit it at a golf shop today and loved it I maxed at 180yds, which is usaully how far i hit my 19 degree hybrid. The thing is I hit a 21. this thing is definintely joining the 5 wood on the Christmas list . Also thanks for all the input.

was it more forgiving than the 585? i could not hit the 585 for the life of me, which is funny because i can pure a 1 iron rather easily.

I have actually never hit a 585, but the club wasnt exactly to hit. While I was still warming up the shots were going 150ish. That said its not very hard to hit AFTER you warm up.

I absolutely love the 585H with a ProForce 104g stiff shaft. For me it is the ultimate hybrid. I haven't seen the new model yet but I think the old one was great and the new one is likely better.

sounds like lots of people like these. Has anyone hit the 585 and the 909? Comparison?
