They're somewhat more forgiving just because the cavities. The soles are a little wider than you would find in a traditional blade. But if you miss them on out on the toe you're going be be penalized just as much as any other players club. The 695cbs are my only playing frame of reference but the duel cavity seem to help you out more with launch and trajectory than forgiveness.

For what it's worth, I went from playing Cleveland Cg4s to the AP2 and had no trouble at all with the transition...in fact the AP2s really sharpened my ball striking.

That's what I'm hoping for with my AP2's. I got them today, but now I just pray for warm weather to continue and melt yesterday's snow. They are still untested, but they sure are purty....

They feel really solid... I have hit them on the practice tee and on the course... Very nice feel and feedback... I saw a lot of Nationwide pros with them in their bags at the Nationwide Tour Championship... Even some of the guys who aren't Titleist staffers... Thinking about making the change... If it's good enough for the PGA Tour and Nationwide player to hit I think with the right shaft it's a good call

I can not say I tried a lot of blades but in relation to Miz’s MP-57, MP-60 and MP-52 I would put them as forgiving as MP-52. So they are quite forgiving clubs. I looked on this forum and found that some other members also grade them close to MP-52’s. I tried them with Project X Reg shaft and they gave me very nice and more penetrating flight than Miz’s with TT Dynamic Gold SL Reg I tried.
Or it is due to proper tungsten weight placement ? I just love that (still use my ancient Cobra baffler due to big tungsten insert there – also get great penetrating flight with it in spite of other shaft in this club).
Feel from the AP-2 face is excellent (as Miz’s I would say). Same day I tried TM r7 TP and feel was not close to that (at least to me) – flight was great as well, have to say.
So if I (with my handi.) can hit them you will have no probs at all.
Only concern to me could be a grooves (V-grooves – flyers?)..
I will go for Miz’s (not brave enough to play same club as Adam Scott). One more good thing about Titleist (web site)– you have more data about shaft options than on some other places (even on some shaft producer web sites...).

how forgiving are the ap2s compared to blades overall how forgiving are the ap2s??

I used to play Titleist before switching to Mizuno, I'd still play them, I've hit almost every iron they've made in the last 9 years an all Titleist are the same in the aspect that if you hit them on the toe it hurts your fingers no matter what, I think all irons are the same in that if you miss them you'll notice it but with most titleist if you miss them you not only know it but you never want to do it again and you'll lose 10 or more yds depending on the miss, but if you hit em clean you'll love em.
