I'm just wondering if they are paid to wear the logos of their player. Maybe it's part of the players deal. Anyone know?

Good question. I would imagine they get something from the players deal. It wouldn't look cool for a caddy to wear a Callaway cap when the player is sponsored by Ping.

Depends on the caddie. Super prominent caddies could have their own endorsements - I think Stevie has a logo on his shirt that isn't one of Tiger's endorsements, but I'm sure Tiger gave permission for it.

But in general, it's probably based on the player's endorsement.

I believe that Stevie has a Valvoline endorsement. I am sure Tiger has to okay it. Interesting to know what the dollar figures would be for that particular spot?

I am sure that you are right. The caddy and the player are sort of "partners" and often close friends---Tiger and Steve, Lee Trevino and Hermn Mitchell, Nick Price and "Squeaky", Tom Watson and Bruce Edwards, Payne Stewart and Mike Hicks, so it would be logical that the caddy be included in some endorsement agreements.

Sometimes, the caddy can negotiate his or her own endorsement contract(s), but he or she had better clear it with "the boss". Supposedly, Fluff Cowan's endorsement contracts made Earl Woods upset and Fluff was canned, and became Jim Furyk's caddy.
