Rossa Putter Insert

OK, i am in the market for a new (cheap, but good) putter. I am open to any suggestions, and was just wondering if anyone knew anything about the taylormade Rossa putter line (non spider) and the insert that is in them.
I saw this model and it looks very similar to a Scotty Cameron, except for the insert, and they are only like $80 At Golfsmith.

i ended up getting the rossa modena 8.

about the insert... i really like the way it feels when striking a putt. seems to have a good roll as well. not sure what else to say.

i didnt putt well with the one pictured... i like to use the putter lines... and the one pictured only as a dot.

comes with a nice headcover.

if you look around you can find some coupon codes that work on those putters as well. got mine for $72.

EDIT: cosmetically i love most of that line. One thing about the insert... i read it somewhere and experienced a little. it's kind of sensitive to the elements. i already got a tiny paint chip on the outer yellow circle... seems to have come from sand or something.

I've read and heard that the insert in the taylor made putters are nothing special at all. Nothing more than a colorful piece of plastic in the front of the putter to resemble an insert.

I have putted with all kinds of inserts and they are all way too soft for me. I realize that even if it is just a piece of plastic, it might feel pretty good to me.

I had a taylormade putter it rolled the ball pretty good but my rife is so much better that I had to get it. You should look for a rif on ebay you wont be dissapointed.

for that price there great try the oddesy white hot tour there about 130 i think that they be a little much with tax though
